I'm having the same dilemma.  I'm hesitant to lay out the bucks, but I think it will be worth it if I do.  Just trying to figure out which one of these competing products is the route to go.  Did you have any luck in your search?  Muchos Gracias

Hello, I would like to tell you about the PH bending tool that I bought about a month ago. I bought it from west coast hobbies.(www.westcoasthobby.com) I dont know if you know of them or not, but I really like my PE bending tool alot. It is right at six inches across and both sides are useable, you don't have to take anything apart to take full advantage of this tool I bought the classic PE tool, It is made of real nice material also. I think I paid about $42.00 for mine, check them out and read up on there items that they have for sale, It might be just what you are looking for. There is a NEW feature on the 4inch HOLD & FOLD.

The head unit DOES NOT need to be removed these days.

All you do is lossen the knob a little and the HEAD UNIT now just rotates around the [shorter pins] if you need to use the long edge, really clever and WOW does it make it a lot easier to use,

(The only thing the 4inch(RTH) does not "have" vrs the BUG, is the tie down bending beams on the head unit)

The Roller set and cutting kits etc, well like all things in life these are not essential as per the floding tools themselfs, however if the budget does strech that far, then they do not ever get "shelved" for sure

GREAT! I was also considering the Etch-mate, but I will probably go for the 4 incher.

Hmm, frankly, when I make a big purchase, I chuck budget out the window. If it's soemthing I'll use for the majority of ym modelling career (like a hold and fold compressor or airbrush) I go for the biggest and bestest.

I have a 4 inch one and it works great. i would reccomend it.
