Dremel makes a tool holder part number 2217.  I have one and you can mount it anywhere.  It will swivel 360 degrees and tilts 180 degrees in any direction.

What I did was to take a medium/large coffee mug hook and scewed it into the side of my work space. I have a peice of formica. Although the Dremel hangs down about waist high, there's enough "slack in the line" to do what I need to do.

Do you have a local Wal*Mart ?

I've seen all kinds of Dremel stuff at ours, including the different attaching clamps/stands.

Could you just nail a board to the wall (between two studs) and get a hanger from Lowes tec.?
