Yes it will work. But I don't use it, I use either AVES or Squadron white for gaps.

 Furthermore, I also use super glue (CA) for gaps. It works well, and sands easily.

i bought the tamiya basic. and i know its used for small scratches and imperfections and it works great. i also bought the green box quick type epoxy putty box says for remodeling, sculpting modifications,repairs. is this a putty for filling gaps or not THANKS rob
