bendicator availability

I saw an article about using this tool on Ausfwerks, but I couldn't find it in their shop.  Does anyone know if these are still available somewhere?  It looks like a great tool to have around.

Sadly this fine tool is no longer available. Demand outstripped supply and rising costs made it too expensive to continue production. It's a real shame.

So long folks!

You're right, that is very sad news...

I need to meet a metal fabricator to make me all this cool stuff I see on the Internet!

Thanks for being the bearer of bad news Bgrigg, I'll stop hoping for one of these.

Aloha

Well, it's not a role I relish! Sigh [sigh]

There are alternatives such as the Etch Mate out there, so search around before hiring a fabricator to recreate the tool.

So long folks!

That looks like it would be great, but did you see the price tag?  I don't think I could bring myself to spend that.  $30 sure, but $80?

Thanks for the link though, I appreciate it.

That's definitely better Rob, thanks for the link.  I may pick one of these up, but there are a few tools on the list before it.  BTW, I love the little techno soundtracked animations they have for their products like the Grabhandler and the Etch-Mate.  It's just funny.

Justin,

I use The Smallshop's Hold and fold. I paid 35.00 bucks for it a few years ago. I works well for me. The price has increased now. I have the 4 inch hold and fold. I hope this helps you out.
