The Hun performed most of the CAS in South Vietnam by USAF fast movers up to 1970 or so. Also recorded the first unconfirmed MiG kill in April 1965 of that war during a strike on the Thanh Hoa bridge.

Top bird is the F-100, Super Sabre, "The Hun". First operational USAF supersonic fighter.

For two decades and three generations of aircraft, North American probably built the BEST fighters in the USAF inventory.

Just thought I'd share this one... It'd make a helluva shadow-box diorama.. Or an in-flight mirror-dio..
