Try the website WW2InColor.com as it has alot of German Luftwaffe photos.  It might show some hangar photos.

WWII German Air Base material search

Well, I haven't floundered through Finescale in a long time... Model-building's been on a backburner.

I've a project I'm working on, and any serious history buff knows the best source for model reference material is right here...

This is for a 3D computer graphic scene, as I've been dabbling heavily into 3D computer generation lately.

I'm looking for images of WWII German air bases... Not a fullblown air base, but something small-ish, for a very odd sort of project...Purelyficticious (unless you choose to believe some of the WWII myths and legends about Germany's research and developments).

While the military installation I'm modelling carries a bit of air support, naval and land components, the airbase aspect is the one I've had the most trouble finding images of...

I don't know that this is at all appropriate for posting progress, etc., as it's not traditional modelling, but I'd be glad to update and include anyone wanting to know more.

I've always enjoyed FSM's forum deeply, and if the mods are alright with it, I would be glad to share more of the project and progress... otherwise, I don't want to disrupt the theme of this fine site and forum.
