Ok..

Some SHAEF maps (I don't know exactly what that is) reproductions I have here (A high quality photocopy made in cooperation with the Imperial War Muesum) shows German position during the battle of St. Lõ the 30th June.

Just south of Carentan we have the 17.SS PG. Further North-East we have the 2nd Panzer just south of Balleroy. Just next to them, we have the Panzer Lehr, 2.SS Panzer and 9.SS Panzer, located just below Tilly. Then we have the 1.SS Panzer located just below Caen, and the 12.SS Panzer and the 21st Panzer in and around Caen.

Hope it helps!

"SHAEF"?  If that's what you are referring to, its Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Forces.

Don't want to ruffle any feathers, so if that's not what you meant, I apoogize, Huxy.

Villers bocage?

Have a search at Panzer Lehr division and 1.SS division and 2.SS division, Normandy...  I'll have a look in a map I have for more armoured divisions stationed all around Normandie... Wink [;)]

Thanks, Jim
