i have the perfect pic for you that my buddy took of a taliban t-62...its a one of a kind camo scheme...but i cant give it to you until i model it. please dont think im trying to say nya nya nya nya nya. im not, your more than welcome to it...just not until im done...lol. sorry...no harm or ill intentions meant with this. just saying is all.

Think I have heard you speak of it before. But for this build I need something that was around durring the Soviet occupation. Don't think Taliban would count for me. I have found photos of Northern Alliance and Taliban pics but neither group was in existance durring the Soviet occupation so they are out. Appreciate your reply though.

Did you check the first page of the Bear Trap Group build? We've linked a few online resources for you to use. You might also consider asking for advice in there as well.

Soviet-Afghan Armor reference help
Posted by Coldsteel6d on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 3:51 PM

I am trying to build a T-62 used in the Soviet-Afghan conflict. I would like to make it as an Afghan tank either government or Mujahideen. All i can find are pictures of soviet tanks or modern Afgan ones.

Anyone out there know a place to get wartime photos for Afghan tanks? Even if its not a T-62 maybe I could at least get some ideas and put it to use.

thanks
