Search the Armor forum as someone had posted a link approx. 6 months ago on that subject in the former Soviet states of Bulgaria and Romania. The Soviets had used German tank turrets and T-34 turrets just like the old German Panzerturm emplacements. Now they have become prime targets for collectors and people are stealing them.
