You need to research archaelogical field reports on work conducted at Tikal.  These will include detailed drawings and maps.  Some may even include hypothetical recreations of what the structures looked like during their heyday.

I'd suggest going to your local library and asking the reference librarians to see what archaelogical journals they can get their hands on for you.

Tikal model

Hello everyone,

Looking for a little bit of help getting started on a large scale-model of Tikal (a ruined ancient Mayan city in Guatemala). I'm trying to find decent resources, detailed images of each temple, some detailed maps/plans of the place, etc. If anyone has any good info on the place itself it'd be great if you could pass it on here. I'm quite familiar with the culture and general architecture, just looking for general design layout.

Thanks
