                        Can anyone identify this huey? its the bird i want to model and i see red on the nose and tail, anyone know what squadron/what bird it actualy is?

                        visit the Navy and or Marine Corps websites, most of these images are available there. Typically several shots taken during the photojournalists pictorials are displayed of the topic/time/visit etc.

                        Just visit the photo/image galleries and do a search.

                        Ok, so what i have found, is all these birds (Sqn269)  have nose art. none of the photos show the art close up. might just have to do a generic one.
