Revell 1:8 Harley Police Bike
Posted by Garrod Kemp on Sunday, May 9, 2010 6:52 PM

Hi Lads,  I am officially designated as 'NEWBY'.  As such, I humbly submit for your consideration:

I'm rebuilding an old Revell 1:8 kit of the Harley police bike,  I have all the various pieces in baggies, but no instruction sheet.  Do any of you have that instruction sheet for copying?  Do anyone have any close-ups of the finished kit itself?  Also, while I'm at it - how 'bout a wiring/cable schematic for the various hook-ups?  I know this is a lot for my first entry, but I humbly stand-by to be impressed!

Thanks for having me at your workbench!

If you are rebuilding and you had to disassemble it first, you probably should have taken pictures and made notes before you started and during the process.

Suggest you get online to see if you can find a used service manual for the bike. That should have everything you need for your project. Pictures too can help you when instructions are absent.

The manufacturer might have some archival pictures of the finished kit...of course again you can Google the topic and probably find what you are looking for.

Go to the Revell web site. You can get a copy of the directions from there. I just got a copy of the Alley Rat Blacktop Warrior model. Infact, they mailed it to me the very next day after putting in the request.

Thanks all!... I appreciate the interest and the information.  I finally settled for buying a kit from eBay that contains the instructions.  I'll copy/scan them for posterity then resell the kit again.  Oddly enough Revell no longer has the instructions for this kit as it is 10 years out of production.  A wiring diagram would be very helpful ... it can be sent a a PM as a .pdf perhaps.  I appreciate it and will post photos once it is completed.   -
