Thanks Goodness, I did find the site with the first picture, and it shows the "briefcase style" case, I was trying to find a bigger type wooden case that several of those smaller "briefcases would of come in or something. Surely the Germans didn't transport all their mortar ammo, in small 3 piece cases?
Hawkeye, thanks I am doing a general search for artillery now, maybe I was being to specific in my own search, just limiting it to mortar ammo cases. Like I say I am just trying to get in the same ball park here, with out obsessing about it (well obsessing to much at least
