Great pics. Thanks

When I attended my first air show the one thing that struck me was how much smaller all these WW2 bombers were compared to my expectations. I guess I was expecting them to be the size of modern day bombers and commercial aircraft. It was truly an eye opening experience for me. I can only imagine being in those cramped conditions while flax and bullets were flying by all around me.

Here are some photos I took of the B-17G "Aluminum Overcast" back in May 2007.  It is owned by the EAA and was touring the country at the time.  Nothing like seeing these amazing aircraft still flying!  I was also fortunate enough to spend a couple of hours talking with two former World War II Bomber Pilots.  What a great day!
