Google found two Revell P-51D Mustangs: #132547 (1:48) and #851374 (1:72). Try this: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Revell+P-51&aq=f

how to track down instructions for aircraft kit
Posted by mgh on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 10:25 AM

A friend sent a P-51D kit for $5.  It has no instructions.  He said it was a Revell kit, and the decal sheet has #5069 on it.  When I do a search for Revell 5069 I get nothing.  I found a web-site with Revell instructions, but there is no 5069, and the P-51D I did find there was not the kit I have.

Any suggestions how to track down what this kit is?

It is missing one of the horizontal stabilizers, and I cannot see any identification anywhere.

Thanks!
