Well, I did more research, and found an interior shot.  Just as I thought, sheet metal floor, but I'm surprised to see an upholstered door panel.  If interested, look here: www.cartechbooks.com/.../kspittmans41willys

Thanks for that link!  Man, it did bring back some memories.   When I first started reading the many hot rod magazines of that era, Top Fuel dragsters were running in the mid-7 second range.  This was circa '66-'67.  Now, aren't they in the high threes?  Wow.  That's brief.

I find cars to be the genre with the most difficulty finding 3-view (or more) drawings. A google search of aircraft typically finds a number of scale drawings.  I occasionally find profile views of ships and tanks.  I have learned to use CAD just to make scale drawings from photos.  You need to find shots taken square-on along the major axis (getting a top view is REALLY hard).  And, you need at least one dimension known.  Sometimes knowing the tire size on a car will give you the dimension for the profile view.

It would be helpful to find some old Hot Rod magazines from the mid to late '60s.  I can well remember many stories about that car, and their great rival, Stone-Woods-Cook.  Have you checked out EBay perhaps?

My fellow modelers, I'm trying to move forward with my K.S.Pittman 41 Willys Drag Coupe Revell kit # 85-4990.  I've found some photos on the 'net, but obviously there are no 3 view drawings, etc.  Looking at the photos I've seen, Revell took some "artistic license" with the parts in the kit.  I'm thinking the shape, chassis "set up", and decals come closest.

What I'm looking for is interior shots, since I don't think there would be stuff like inner door panels, etc. on the real car.  If weight was a factor to consider, I'm almost certain upholstery would be left out.  Without having to spend lots for references, does anyone have any suggestions?  BTW, it will be a build for me to look at, and if I am satisfied, I may post a photo or two.
