Can you list the models so we know what ones? Someone might have English versions.
I've gotten kits with foreign language in them but pay no attention to them. Following the instruction guide in assembling the kit is all it matters. Knowing the symbols is pretty self explanatory (dotted lines, drill holes, do not glue, etc...) Paint guide are usually by brand and number depending on kit manufacturer. There are kit guides online that offer English versions. I just can't remember the website though. Of course there folks here who may be of help too. Good luck.

You are right in everything you said. My concern is sometimes there a little note about something and I don't want to screw things up.
The models are from the Hasegawa line of Macross/Robotech models
This web site has some stuff that may help. Not sure if it has the kits you have but it does have instructions with some English overlaid to assist.

If you can scan and post the ones in question, we can help. You are correct in that sometimes a little note can make a big difference. A friend ended up with two left or right upper legs on his HGUC Xeku Eins kit because he did not know that the instructions said to assemble in a mirrored fashion to get handed parts! Yeah stuff like that can spoil your day. Anyway, we are here to help.
