Proper miniature figure for 1/35th scale vehicle
Posted by aWintersTale on Sunday, October 11, 2015 11:06 AM

Hi. I'm building up the Tamiya Simca auto, and would like to know what size after-market figure I would order that would be in scale with this subject. I am shopping at peoplescale.com, which sells only miniatures mainly for the train-set market, and thereby use mainly the alphabetical "Z" through "G" scale. My Simca is 1/35th scale, and I am specifically looking for a miniature figure of a women pedestrian with winter attire (an overcoat would do, but one holding an open umbrella would be outstanding.) Thanks.

Using the letter system, I don't think there is one that matches 1/35th. The nearest is G scale but that is not exact, I think it varies from 1/32nd to 1/25th or something like that.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I didn't have much trouble finding a few online. They do tend to be world war 2 era.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Masterbox do several figure sets in 1/35th with female figures which may suit,

google:  Europe, 1945 1/35 Master Box 3514   &  Women of WWII for some ideas.
