Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 2:35 PM
I will soon start building my 1/32nd scale Hornet from Academy.
I could use some cockpit reference pics, any good links ???
Other Hornet info is also very welcome.

There are some great cockpit pics on Aircraft Resource Center, I can't link them directly, but just click on the walkarounds link on their site.

Both S/S's Hornet In Action & Walkaround have some real good pit reference pics. I was actually suprised how much they show in the books because even as a Hornet maintainer I'm not really "supposed" to take pics of the pit. If you need any more info than that or have a question feel free to drop me a line at calvin.gifford@cvw5.navy.mil . Good luck and Happy ling!!

Im sorry I didn't answer your mail. I have just been VERY busy lately ( and still is ) I know what you mean, Im a F-16 mechanic myself and I am not allowed to take any pics, but I can find pics of almost anything in books and on the net.
I'll get back to you when I have more time, and when I know what I am looking for. Thanks

If the link doesn't work. Go to the message titled Instrument panels here in this forum It'll bring you to the same site.

Again hope this helps

Although it was for a different scale, I think you might find some good information in this thread:
