Armor master! While browsing through the reference material pages I stumbled upon your inquiry about Wittmanns tiger tanks, and I have a pretty good reference for you from an unlikely source. Check out the book entitled "ACES 3" by Wayne Patton. This book is a Squadron/ Signal publication, and it deals primarily with Aircraft fighter aces from the World wars, which is probably why you missed it! There is an interesting section in the book about high scoring armor aces (pgs. 57-60) that contain 8 color renditions of many of the vehicles Wittmann used throughout his amazing career. The pictures all have FS standard equivalent numbers for the illustrated colors on each vehicle. There is also a pretty good picture of Tiger # 205 that you mentioned in your question, plus a well detailed story of Wittmanns exploits! This book should also be easy to find, since all well stocked hobby shops carry Squadron/Signal books. Hope this is not to late considering the date you posted your inquiry! Heja 1

The "Panzers in Normandy; Then and now" version is good, it has good pics and good illustrations, the down side is that it doesn't mention the tank numbers.
Tigers in combat II by Wolfgang Schneider have some text and pics, the text also includes the tank numbers.
The part that I wrote in one of your earlier threads about this was taken from this book.
Try and read as many different versions as you can. I have read about 4 different versions of the battle.
Its one of the problems with these extremely famous battles, all the experts have their own version and its difficult to know which is the right one.
