D-Day Museum

Groovy shots, Garth! I've never been there, but it sure has grown since I last saw any photo coverage or features of any sort on the museum. I especially like the way almost every vehicle has been 'personalized', with the gear, helmets and all. That Suribachi flag raising mural is kinda cool too...

I'm not someone who likes museums, but the D-Day museum is amazing. As I understand it, they are expanding it quite a bit to be more of a WWII museum and research center as well. I'm not sure when that is supposed to happen though. At any rate, if you have never been, it alone is worth the trip to New Orleans.
