Richard, how far are you from the Naval Museum at P-Cola? They have a Loon hanging from their ceiling over one of the balconies and you can get really close to it. This is all depending on how much Ivan did to the museum of course.

Just picked up the October 2004 issue of Wings and it has a couple of Loon pictures on p. 56. Might not help but it's worth a look.

Wings/Airpower did a piece recently on missles recently. There were sone shots of Loons, but I can't say at the moment which issues.

I have searched the web for photos of the Loon which was the offshoot of the Germabn V-1 buzz bomb. It was used as the Navy's first experiments into the guided missile program. I am looking for photos of the booster sled ao I can build a diorama.
