Let me introduce you to Trackstory, a new series of monographies, so far dedicated to French AFVs of WWII.
The editor and author is Pascal Danjou, a good friend of mine and he's also the editor of a quarterly magazine dedicated to braille scale AFV modelling, called Minitracks.
Now the great thing about Minitracks and Trackstory is that both are in dual language, French and English. Not just the picture captions are translated. Everything is.
Trackstory so far include 2 titles, Somua S35 and the recently published Panhard 178. Both titles have lots to offer, with history and development of the vehicles, uses in the French army and in other armed forces, experimental variants, scale drawings (1/35 and 1/72), color profiles, and lots of details about markings. Lots of fantastic pictures too, including close-ups and inside shots. I do not know where Pascal gets those pics from, but believe me he is a modeler (an excellent one at that!) and knows what we are looking for.
The third Trackstory title is likely to be a hit: Char B1... Get it when you can!
