B-24 pics

I'm not sure. All the notes that I took when he was alive were burned up in a house fire several years before I came into the Navy (along with about 175 unbuilt kits!) I'm writing now to get a copy of his personnel record. That should shed a little more light. He flew in quite a few a/c when he was with the 5th AF, and changed units at least once. He also flew with some Aussies, which he admired a great deal.

What unit did your Dad fly with? I may have some addtional pics?

Jim, thank you so much! I have been doing research on B-24's that my Dad flew in the Pacific & you may have put me in touch with the very people that he flew with!!

The only shot I could find on the web of the Lady Be Good's missing engine didn't look like it was torn off clear to the firewall. It looked like part on the engine was still attached. But, the phot was small, low res. So, I couln't enlarge it.

Here's what I could find. I tried enlarging a shot of the e Lady Be Good I found on the web. But, the photo quality wasn't good enough.

There's a post on this forum of another Lady Be Good model. Maybe you can plagerize?
