Bf109 G-6 Pics
Posted by Bandha Boy on Saturday, October 30, 2004 4:31 AM
I thought these might be of interest to the internationals who haven't been to the Australian War Memorial. They have a mass of interesting gear but I'm particularly interested in their Bf109 G-6 as it's the only remaining example in the world with it's original paint. I've left the pics full size so apologies if they take a while to load but if you save them you'll get good res.

They also have excellent samples of: a 163, a 262, a P41-D, a Lancaster (the famous 'G' for George), a Zero, a Winjeel, a Mosquito, an Se5, a Spit,a Kittyhawk & a few others I can't recall. They even have the Red Baron's control stick & cockpit frame along with re samples form his plane. I'll probably post some more photos of these later on. Lot's of armour, uniforms, etc as well.
