L'waffe late war airfield photos/info? (for a diorama)

Hi all

I'm toying with the tought of making a 1/72 diorama of a JG7 airfield. (actually, only a small section). I'm planning to use a Me-262 and Bf-109G-10 (both Revell kits) and a Kettenkrad which came in the Academy Bf-109E kit.
It will feature Me262 being towed by the Kettenkrad, with Bf109G "resting" nearby.

Most questions I have concern:
- towbar: its shape, how is it attached to ME262's undercarrage, also color of the towbar
- color of the kettenkrad
- what the paved area (concrete) looked like - how large were the individual concrete slabs, what's the color of concrete
- where could I obtain some airfield personell figures (do you think the diorama would look OK with no figures?)
- is it likely that there was a building/shed nearby I could Incorporate into such diorama?
- could I make use of drum barrels and jerry cans which were supplied with the Bf109E+Kettenkrad kit?

It would be nice to make the diorama as believable & realistic as possible.
