Hello all,
I'm working on a high-resolution model of a Spitifre, a bit out of the norm I think for some here, but it's a side project to my 'real' model work (related to my day job)
I've looked through a ton of sources for orthographic drawings, diagrams, line art, whatever you wan to call it, of a Spitfire, prefereably a Mark V. I've literally looked at over 1200 images, and the few I do find are either rather small, or the diagrams have been digitally painted with a color scheme.
I'd like to find a simple black and white one, and it would be great if it were about 800 pixels wide or so at the least for the length of the fighter. As many surfaces/angles as possible.
Should anyone know of a book or two to look through and scan, that's welcome as well. I've only one book on the fighter, by Dibbs and Holmes.
My 'last resort' will probably be to scan in a couple of instruction sheets and go from there.
Many thanks.
