Where can I find reference material, in english, on late 1970's to mid 1980's English Armor?

You could find plenty of reference books at a local library. Or a visit to a used book seller. There were plenty of titles published during the years of the Cold War to showcase what each side had. There was even a book published under the title of Armor of World War III.
