yes,it could be the scheme. i always wanted to know if that right (from rear of the tank) hole in the turret is for a fixed machinegun and if the late prod tank carried a MG on the cupola ring

This is Tiger S33 of Das Reich, I believe this is the vehicle you want.

The Chinese character means "fortunate" or "lucky"

Although the Kursk tactical marking is on the wrong side, as seen from this photo, also of S33. Wartime censors deleted the turret numbers.

No problem. Smile [:)]

There used to be a lot more of these kind of sites with lots of color schemes, but I fear they may have run afoul of copyright issues. Sad [:(]

The paint schemes are a function of which version of Tiger (initial, early, mid, late etc), the time period of the war (the "official" camo and colors changed depending on what year and time frame) and also where it served (Russia, Italy, France, North Africa), and there are many variations as it was often applied in the field, which left much to the interpretation of the individuals applying the camo.  So if you can narrow it down we should be able to give you some ideas  Smile [:)]

It all depends on which variant of Tiger I you are building, which theater of operation, season, year and unit you what to depict. Here is a bunch of Tiger paint schemes;

If you have decided on a specific vehicle or unit, we can track down the suitable paint scheme that is appropriate for that vehicle.
