Hi all,
I've been a member of the museum for 10 or so years now. My biggest contribution to the museum is volunteering each year at the WWII Weekend air show -- I don't do any of the restoration work.
However, I've been visiting the Widow now for ten years and following the restoration progress pretty closely. It's taken an amazing amount of work to get her to this point.
In any event, I urge everyone who can make it to tour the museum and watch some of the restoration work that goes on there. The museum's other projects pretty interesting too!
My family and I are going to the member's picnic next week. I'll try to get some good photos of the P-61 while I'm there.
Regards,
