No photos involved, but here's a link to a pretty good description of the crating and shipping of P-40's in Burma. Might be of some help.

P-400, P-39 Aircraft Crates

I am looking for photos of P-39's and P-400's being crated for shipment.  I can't seem to find any photos of that.  I remember a dio in FSM's Annual in '04 or '05 that shows a British P-39 being uncrated.  I would like to do the same thing, but use P-400's as received by the 67th FS in the Soutwest Pacific before going to Guadalcanal.
