Panzers&shermans

I returned back to modelling after a long absence,Like most,as a youngster.I found it more enjoyable than ever.Before long I subsribed to F.S.M[ French with many spanish written articles& projects]. Then AFV model & MODEL selection [ from france,but all in english ] . I wanted to learn more about the new techniques & after markrt parts available.In reading these ,going on almoust3 yrs. All they do is model Shermans & Panzers 1-4. While FSM has a wider span,Those aformentioned tanks are still the bulk of vehicles.Why,why,why ? Are they supposed to represent the pinnicles of tank technology ?And these 3 mag,s are not cheap to produce.They all have excellant photographph, thorough visuals & are printed on high qaulity paper.the staff are no dummies.Well after the time & expense,I can do anything on any Panzer or Sherman.What are so special about those ? I' writing to see if any one else feels the way I do,Or am I expecting to mutch ?    Semper fi , rudedog
