What do you do with a big model?

I was surfing the net today and found this:

It is a 1/6 scale model tank. That is almost a meter long! I am just curious if someone has ever built something this big? Do you still use glue on a model like this or is like brazing/soldering/welding required?

I dont know what its made of but i would fit radio gear and run it. Have you seen these 2 companys:
