Online source for military books?
Posted by alumni72 on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 9:06 PM

I never had much interest in World War 1, at least until I read a book a couple of months ago titled "All the King's Ships Were at Sea".  A very detailed but interesting book that covered the first 6 months of the Royal Navy's part in WW1.  And now I'm hooked.

I became aware that Osprey Books has (or had, I'm not sure which is proper) a Campaign book (#72) on the Battle of Jutland, but try as I might I can't locate a copy.  I'm pretty particular about the condition of my books and want to get a new copy if at all possible; I've looked in all the B&N and Borders stores in my area and while they have plenty of Osprey titles, none have this particular one.  Old reliable Squadron doesn't have it listed, and while there are two copies on eBay right now they are listed as less-than-new condition.  And no luck at Amazon, either - it's not listed there.

I'm curious if anyone here has a reliable online source of military books.

How about directly from the publisher;

Dunce [D)]  You'd think I would have thought of that, wouldn't you?

Talk about overlooking the obvious - thanks!  I've gotten so used to going to outlets I didn't even think of the publisher.
