"Mickey Mouse" Camo

Can anyone point me to some references to the so called "Mickey Mouse" Camo pattern? I understand it was used by the British during D Day and that it was used on softskin vehicles. Is this correct so far? I like the pattern and would like to paint a suitable vehicle with it. Thanks.
