I would love to have the money and time to get into that hobby, but it's just too expensive. I've got the most expensive part though.....an M-1 rifle!

Not sure if this is the right area to post, but it seems safe.

My dad is a retired navy veteran and every year we try to find something military to share as a family event with the "guys", meaning myself, my sons and my brother in law and his son. This year we headed out to Le Center Minnesota to Traxler's hunting Preserve where they held a battle in France during WWII. Their were also some civil war cannon and mortar drills.

The coolest thing was seeing the German Hanomags, wow, those were too cool. I'd have never thought I would have ever seen anything like that.

Their were some P51's scheduled to fly in and do bombing runs, but they canceled and were replaced by some AT-6 Texans that put on a great show.

If anyone is interested I will be posting some video I shot in the next few days over at you-tube. I can certainly post the link when done.

I'll post a few pictures here for you and the rest are at the link provided.
