My latest experiment...

Here is a test photo of my recently completed 1-48th scale Hobbyboss kit (plus a Dragon 1/144 A-10 and various T-62's). The A-10 is more of a frankenhog, as many parts were sourced from the Revell kit. I will be posting a build thread soon. This scene is a composite of a USAF photo (the oil fires) meshed with a forced perspective diorama of the tanks that I built for the occasion, which I then used as a background plate to shoot the A-10's. I'm still playing with it, but this is an early result. It recreates a mission flown on Feb 25th, 1991. I plan to use this is a reference photo for some future artwork...
