This may appeal more to Armor and Car Builders .

Hi ;

 You know I always advocate " Found Materials " and their uses in modeling , Right ? Well here's one I had dropped in my lap , Literally !

 How many of us use the Larger Kindle ? You know , the fancy one ? There is a case cover for that puppy . Magnetic leaf seal and everything . They do wear out  over time, you know .

 When they do , here's where it gets interesting . The Magnetic leaf is usually the first to go .To many folds over time . The material splits and guess what , Goodbye magnetic flap !

What do we do with the rest ? Well , Auto modelers are always looking for interior textured material and Armor builders are always looking for tarps . Oh ! I forgot ship modelers . This material makes Great canvas dodgers ( Or Weather Shields ).

 I know , you are saying what material ? Well , on the inside it peels off the plastic panels to expose a very fine linen like material .The outside is like a pseudo cloth version of vinyl . So fine you can't tell it from cloth !

 Now there you now have two side panels The size of a large Kindle , Roughly 4"x 6" What will you use them for ? By the way , They paint well with either Acyrlics or Enamel .Thin the enamel when painting the fine inside stuff though .

 The remaining  ,plastic ? interior , panels can be used on other builds .They are almost the color of natural resin . But who knows ? I do know they do not react to Styrene Glue  . T. B. ---  P.S. Each panel is about 5 1/4 " by 1 1/4 " wide and .020 thickness .
