Best Online Store for Vallejo Paints in US
Posted by Niko on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 8:00 PM

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask but does anybody know a online seller who vends Vallejo paints at the best prices?

The 17ml droppers are roughly $5 USD on Amazon and are priced the same at my local Hobby Lobby.

I have seen 17ml droppers go as low as $2.47 on ScaleHobbyist but I am wondering if anyone here has had experience purchasing from this vendor.

I am specifically looking for the Model Color paints.

Thank you,

Niko

I'll second the notion that Scalehobbyiest is a first rate vendor.

I'm with Tojo and Jeff....

....if you like ScaleHobbiest's pricing, go for it. I didn't realise thier pricing was so competative on Vallejo, I'll try to go there next time myself.

I never compared prices on paint or weathering powders either. I've just been buying from Hobbylinc since you get points for every purchase that give you credits for purchases after you accrue enough points.

Surely do get that. On the other side of that is this; When I need something and have to go online as you did, my tendency is to rationalize that I'm paying shipping anyway, and have a horrible habit of over-buying supplies and misc this and that's that I do not really need.

For example, I just recieved an order from Sprue Bros which was supposed to be for a bottle of Tamiya Extra Thin and a Tamiya Extra Thin fast drying, but ended up including a tamiya modeling knife and extra blades that sounded good at the time becuase "I always like Tamiya tools) and my first Zukei-Mura kit.

Some happy medium in between what you did and what I did might be good. Whistling
