There has to be an alternitve to this product at your local hard ware store...WHY. because the brush will not reach the last third of their product. a little longer brush would keep me in line.

the brush can be extended. Just take tweezers and the bottom half of the stem will extend from the top half.
You just need to use another brush. You're not restricted to the one that comes with the bottle. An inexpensive paint brush can be used.

I do this as well, to keep the 'ready' rack' glue & brush clean. PS always glue the glue bottle(s) to a larger base, old CD, wood base, or inset in a chunk of foam, to help prevent it being knocked over.

Maybe he navigated to the forum, landed on the page and started a post without realizing he was in the Welcome forum.
A little while back, we had a number of people who were long-time members post topics here in Welcome, and we all jumped in with, "Hi, nice to meet ya!" etc, etc without realizing it wasn't a new member. From that, I started looking at the User profile card on the post, like this one:
so I could see if it was a new guy or not, and tailor a reply as appropriate.
I never knew that - I'm currently using the time-honoured technique of sloshing the stuff round in the bottle to get the brush wet!

Cannot understand why many liquid cements come in tall and thin bottles instead of short and squat (hence more stable) containers. I stand mine in short sided wider based jars when in use. Easier than some of the other methods mentioned.
The other thing I do is use a separate brush. I have a liquid cement with brush built into the handle where the bristles are permanently bent due to being in contact with the bottom of the bottle. Annoying as I had to turn the brush to get it at the right angle to use it. I got so fed up with it that I cut it away altogether and instead store a couple of cheap brushes bristles upright alongside the cement bottle inside the jar. A convenient stable solution with the brushes always to hand. Small jars like honey, jam and chutney jars are ideal for this.
