Serving with the U.S. Air Force, Matthew flew on the C-5 Galaxy a couple of times. “I was always amazed by this huge transport plane,” he says. He built Anigrand Craftswork’s 1/72 scale resin behemoth (37" x 41"), base-coated it with automotive primer, and finished with Testors Model Master paint. Markings from Draw Decals make it aircraft 70044 at Travis Air Force Base, California.
