Joined Army at 19 and became a UH-1H Huey crewchief with the US Army. Man what a job that was! Did that job for around 8 years and met my wife Dianna at Ft. Polk La on my last duty assignment. I brought her to my hometown and were married on Mar 2, 1996. After that pursued employment with my dad for a year in the independent auto repair business until I decided to go with GM dealership experience in 96. Stayed employed with dealers and was enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2001 as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Little did I know that I would be working on M109 Self Propelled howitzers! It was still a blast. Today I am no longer in the military. I was employed at General Motors dealerships as a service technician for about 18 years and have gotten away from that about 2-1/2 years ago when I landed a great job at a Fleet Service Department at a local refinery. My wife and I also have a wonderful son who is interested in WWII aviation and ice hockey. He's a real hero to both of us.
