I joined the NAVY in 1978 as a aviation hydraulics mechanic and a aircrewman with HM-14 crewing RH-53D seastallions.we took part in the 1980 Iranian hostage rescue attempt (that is, they commandeered 2 of our birds) we never got them back.I got out in 1982.
