I just got my advanced issue, with my Nomad "beater" in it, and I am very honored to have been published in such a fine magazine again, and in such an especially incredible issue!

This issue has got to be the best yet that I've seen! What a treasure trove of weathering/finishing information!!!

Doog, as I probably mentioned on your thread about it...your Nova is just awesome! Congratulations!

I'm a big Finescale fan, but the jumbo issue is a special treat every year. I bought the jumbo issue in 2005 and I was right back in the hobby.

Crud! I just renewed my mambership so I likely won't get that issue in the mail. I will have to go find it though, it's always a keeper.

Hi Rich,

If you recently renewed your subscription, you should receive the November issue in the mail.

Congratulations Doog.  "lair of the rust bunnies" is truly inspirational.  I think FSM just found a new freelancer !

Geez, I realize that I am a "Thread Killer", but I didn't expect that from the staff. maybe I should just constrain myself to reading only.

Hi Dave,

Please, don't restrain yourself to only reading the magazine. Your comments, positive or negative, are always welcome here.

Thanks, also, for your kind words about the weathering handbook. Our associate editors, Aaron Skinner and Mark Hembree, spent a lot of time getting that package just right – so they'll be more than pleased to read your compliment.

All the best,

Kelly, FSM

Karl - To the Shakespear of the Armor forum, as always, congrats

Kelly - I hope to see some of you guys at Hobby Expo next week but as far as the issue goes, it was very good and I thought balanced. As I said in the return of the survey card my only main problem with FSM is only 10 issues. I wish the mag was published more frequently.

I know the economy is not the best but to pay 10 -20% more per year but get a mag. every month is what I like to see!! I'm sure there is not a shortage of articles.

Hi redleg,

Thanks for your kind words about the mag -- if the numbers worked out, we'd gladly publish 12 issues a year.

Two or three of the staff plan on attending Hobby Expo.

All the best,

Kelly, FSM
