Stars...

It's kinda like first grade when the teacher would hand them out... only this time you actually GET a star like everyone else... not a frowny face on your report card, and note to your parents to meet with her.

How to get stars?

Drive out to someplace that's dark and look up. Alien [alien]

Now one piece of advice, if big round lights start coming closer to you and a shaft of light appears, as they told Forrest Gump, RUN!!!!! Don't sit there and stare at it like a dang fool. Wink [;)]

Buy lots of model kits, don't open them, put them on the shelf and spend all your time on the forum. That'll get you lots of stars. or do like i do, stay up late at nightMischief [:-,] yeh i know i only got one star but look at all the sleep i've lost

True. On more than one ocassion, new members have posted bristling tirades against being labeled ""Snap Together." Of course, that was before they understood the "ranking" system, which, of course, has no bearing on their actual modeling ability. Of course!

I think it's just a fun way of notating how active folks are here in the forums (and not at their workbenches!).

Yeah, so I'm a blabbermouth. What of it???Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]

I'm looking forward to being a blabbermouth especially if I can be of help to someoneApprove [^]Cool [8D]

I think the use of stars is nice because it gives the reader a quick idea of the experience of the posterSmile [:)] One thing I am not sure about is the name tags associated with the starsConfused [%-)] Could they not be degrading to someoneQuestion [?]

You know, they should advertize those voice-to-text software things here, so we can dictate to our computers while we put a model together!
