Private messaging has been out for quite awhile,they are working on it.
If you scroll down,you will see these problems are ongoing,other members have offered solutions to the log out problem.
Don't get frustrated just chill and enjoy the people and the info,if you need to contact someone,mention it to them in one of their posts,and I never understood why it's so important to log out,when I'm done with the site,I just go to another.
I had logged in on another browser and I wanted to logout from this site on that browser. Something is preventing me from doing that.

This is a bug that crops up for some users and not for others. In the past we've recommended clearing cookies to force a log in.

I have cleared cookies and browsing data and nothing works to solve this issue. I still cannot send PMs or log out on other browsers.

PMs are a different issue than logging out. The former issue arose with a security update that we've been trying to nail down. I'll talk to Online and see if we can force your account to log out, but you'll have to log in the next time you're on the site.

No luck for me on that. I just tried to send a test PM to you to see if they'll work and no go.
Yeah, I just tried to send Stik a PM. The Edit Message text box (a modal) opens and overlays the page, but it never completes rendering.
I looked in the developer's tools (anyone curious to see can rightclick on the page and click Inspect) and I saw that there is an error occurring in the background:
So it looks like the support developers still have some work to do, some mixed security issues with loading the PM dialog.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
Well,I got further then I have lately,but alas no dice,but it looks like they made some progress.
