deliberate blocking
Posted by steve5 on Friday, November 15, 2024 3:45 PM

I just recieved an email , from a longtime contributor , pleading for help.

apparently he has been blocked out deliberately by the site .

he asked the customer servive whats going on , and they said , they had blocked all logging in . they didn't state when it would be rectified , in other words too bad so sad .

are they trying to deliberately crush the site , if so just tell us , without all the other rubbish , we are doing our best etc .this use to be a great forum , it's rubbish now .

Yeah, the forums here got so dead that in the end it's hard to understand what the whole thing is about. If it was just a technical difficulty a good technician would fix it under 24 hours, right? So it's got to be sometihing more than a technical difficulty. A financial difficulty? A ransomware attack? Some legal problem? Artist formerly known as Kalmbach only cited technical difficulties so far, which is no longer believable after all this time.

I always say it's sad to watch if you remember how great and full of life these forums used to be once.

Have a nice day

Paweł

If I had to guess, and it would be just that ! I'd say it's an outdated interface/platform/software/framework. IE, it needs to be scrapped and updated to a new system.
