I have a "hobby shop" in my basement due to years in the military and traveling around I managed to "collect" more than I made. Due to a "change of seasons" I had the epithany that I will NEVER be able to finish them all. So fellow modelers, ask me if you find yourself in need of a kit or part. All are opened, Some have been started, some are missing some things, like istructions, some have extra parts. I make no promises, other than to send it to you if I have it. Doesn't hurt to ask. I have race cars mostly, some armor, some aircraft and ships.

Email me. I may even get a list together. . .maybe Shock [:O] .

All I ask is you build it and post a picture of it.

Like watching the kids leave the nest Sad [:(] . . .maybe harder! I've had some of these kits longer!!

I'm working on a list today. . .me, pen,paper and some mixed emotions, no doubt.

It's going real well. . .Too fast really!

I get a few emails for the same kit. First come, first served. I go down and write a name on the kit. Then I have to wait for the address and stuff. I can't promise really fast service but I'll get them out.

It keeps shutting down. . .and this is a new hard driveand mother board(?).

I tend to agree with Sg3 on the CPU gettin' too hot and shutting itself down. Make sure the area around it is clear & that air flows around it. Wouldn't hurt to check your connections either Wink [;)]

btw, are you on a dial up or DSL?

Got me the fastest Cable direct money can buy. . .my money that is,so I got the basic digital hook up with no bells or whistles. The new tower is not blocked by anything and with what I view, it isn't getting too hot (another one, I'm on a roll!)

Make sure your processor fan is working and if you have an airbrush and compressor, open up your computer and blow all the dust out, especially on the CPU head sink and fan. Also blow out your internal power supply, and any other fans or vents you have. Dust is one of the number one problems with PCs as it blocks vents and restricts airflow. It's a good idea to blow out your PC every couple of months.

I make that a part of my regular maintenance for all our PCs but with all the fires we had in the Reno area this summer the soot, ash and dust really clogged up our PCs and the air filters for the Air Conditioner. My PC was locking up and shutting down as well, but after I blew it out it was fine. Normally my CPU runs between 100 and 113 degrees. It was hitting upwards of 150 degrees before I blew the dust out. Shock [:O]

Not a computer wiz persay iam better at trouble shooting hardware and networking issues, but when it comes to a mac i have no idea i hate unix linux base machines. And didnt you know macs are for stupid people Whistling [:-^] Big Smile [:D] Tongue [:P] Wink [;)]

That got your attention eh? Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all that the give away went well. . .too well. I have a back log of kits to ship. Be Patient! I can only ship a few at a time, depending on size of the kit. I have all the requests piled up with names and address' and will ship out in the order I got them. May take a few weeks but I will get them out to you. I apoligise to you guys, but I sent the rest to the clubs of military modelers overseas and that taxed my wallet more than anticipated.

No, this is not a plea for money, just letting you guys know of the delay. I'll email or PM you when I get yours in the mail.
