Castel: since the pic/info came from the Air and Space website, if you want to dispute the info, take it up with them......at least I don't have to resort to posting train pics!Surprise

To clarify the misunderstanding above a bit, the USAF tends to drop the first number of a four digit tail number and precedes it with a number indicating the year of delivery. If you right click the photos and select "Properties" you will usually find the entire tail code number there.

Pyrman, if you can't answer the question in a decent way, then please don't answer at all...or better yet, don't post on this tread at all.

I am not disputing anything, it was a simple question. Can't you answer it instead of just brushing my question aside? I couldn't know where the picture is from. Maybe you should have provided info. There is some at the bottom left corner of the picture but it is hard to see/read.

And what is wrong with train pictures? They can be and are modeled. Maybe not on this website but modeled they are.
