Uhhmm, uh oh, subfixer. I'm not the countdown police but I believe that a rule of sorts has been violated. The post just before yours was also 1644. Same darn boat too. Thats happened to me before too. I've gotten in the habit of locating a picture of the next number and then reloading this page right before posting it. Many many times the next number has been taken out from under me.

Anywho . . . . . .

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

A two minute gap in posting time isn't significant, I'd say. Especially when posting more than one picture. If I had posted it with just the first picture, it would have been on the thread 10 minutes earlier. Besides, is it bad to have additional pictures added to a number as long as it isn't out of sequence?

Dudes, sorry, I got confused. the more time I spend around here, the more I feel my sanity slipping away, in a good sort of way though (I think). As a peace offering, I present thee with yet another landing craft:

LCU 1651 transports Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry

Bill.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

What's to be sorry for, subfixer? Landing Craft are pretty cool, man. Besides, for me it's more about what they're carrying, I think. And for some reason, there seems to be better quality pics of them than there is for most other machinery.

Well, nuff of that . . . . .  back to the numbers game:

1658

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

I said that tongue in cheek. I agree with you, I just thought that since there are so many pics of LCUs that posting them was like shooting fish in a barrel.
